For best Enrollment options, register early in the semester when classes are first published.
We offer the Master's Obedience Program and The Canine Athlete, which gives you access to several classes for a reduced price. We offer a senior discount and a rescue discount on most individual classes.
Classes below will indicate MO for our new Master's Obedience Program or CA for our new Canine Athlete Program. Our prior Training For Life Program has been retired for new enrollees.
You can sign up to get notifications throughout the year when new classes are added. We added the bulk of new classes 3x a year. We will also sporadically add new ones as time slots open.
Some group classes will offer 1 complimentary 20-minute makeup class per series. You will soon be able to schedule this through Gingr. We understand life circumstances can affect attendance. The Obedience Series (1-4), Sport Dog, Sampler, Tricks, and Zen will offer makeup hours. We will not offer this for Continuing Agility, Continuing Rally, or Nose Work classes. Puppy classes are drop-in, so you can just move to another class versus doing a makeup. The complimentary makeup hours are limited to one per series and may not be with your instructor, but will cover exactly what you missed in class. You must be currently enrolled in class to use makeup hours
If you have a prepaid puppy package or are a member of the Master's Obedience or The Canine Athlete, your classes are PREPAID, use a separate enrollment form.
Puppy & Obedience Schedule
Puppy Group Classes - 1 Hour | $60 for 1, $200 for 4, or $300 for 6, MO/TFL
Wags & Wiggles puppy class allows you the flexibility to mix and match the days/times you attend. However, YOU MUST HAVE A RESERVATION. You can enroll and prepay online below. If you have already purchased the puppy package or Master's Obedience Program, you can use this online form to enroll in your prepaid class.
Puppy classes are divided into 2 types of students: NEW and RETURNING. If you are new to Wags & Wiggles or it has been a long time since you trained a puppy, you will come to the class for NEW students ONCE only. Then you will pick a different class day/time to come back as a RETURNING student.

Performance Dog - Moving Puzzles | $125
The exercises in this class are called Moving Puzzles. It will be geared toward active, young dogs. It's different than our normal puppy class. You use bowls, cones, and obstacles to teach body awareness, off-leash training, and independence. You will also work on your dog's focus and drive. Here is a video example of moving puzzles.
PREREQUISITE: There are no prerequisites for this class. For dogs aged 4 months and up.

Obedience Level 1: Fundamentals - 5 Week Class | $329, MO/TFL

We offer small class sizes with the space needed to keep your dog's focus and attention. Exercises are broken down in easy-to-follow handouts, and our certified instructors are there to help every step of the way. Obedience Level 1: Fundamentals covers basic cues like touch, sit, stay, down, come, leave it, go to your mat, watch me, and loose leash walking. Obedience classes are included in our Master's Obedience.

In Obedience Level 3, we add distance, duration, and distractions to your cues. Using cues, we teach other unique behaviors like closing doors and riding skateboards. Does your dog shake like a leaf at the vet's office? Is your dog uncomfortable with being handled while at the vet? Do you struggle to convince your dog to take his or her medication at home? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, this class is for you!
In our Prep For The Vet class, you will learn relaxation, calming, and handling techniques to make your dog's vet visits more enjoyable. Learn counter-conditioning techniques, how to prepare your dog for veterinarian procedures, and how to get your dog to give "permission" for treatment. Canine Good Citizen (CGC) is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. Obedience Attention and Heeling - 5 Week Class | $195
Having a dog that can pay attention to you around distractions is critical if you’re interested in competing in Rally & Obedience with your dog. In addition, over 80% of a Rally course is pure heeling. This class will focus on the basics of attention & heeling. In this class, we will be covering default attention & the gradual addition of distractions. We will also be working on teaching heel position, rear-end awareness for maintaining heel position, and adding motion in heel position.

Rally Obedience is a sport where you and your dog navigate a course, side-by-side, as you steer him through a course of 10-20 different signs. Each of these signs provides instructions regarding the next skill that is to be performed. The dog and handler move continuously throughout the course with the dog under control at the handler’s left side. There is a clear sense of teamwork between the dog and handler, both during and between the numbered signs.
Our Rally Obedience class will teach you and your dog how to perform all of the behaviors necessary for AKC Rally.

Musical Freestyle - 5 Week Class | $195
Canine Freestyle is a modern dog sport that blends obedience training, tricks, and dance, allowing creative interaction between dogs and their owners.
A variation of canine musical freestyle is called Heelwork to Music. Heelwork routines emphasize the partnership of owner and dog walking/moving at the heel and choreographing the heelwork to the music.
In our classes, you will learn how to train the building-block behaviors of routines and how to put it all together with your canine partner.

Why should I have my dog's teeth cleaned?
Imagine how your teeth would look and feel if you didn't brush them daily! Periodontal (gum) disease is one of the most common conditions seen in pets today. Dog dental care is extremely important.
The problem begins when plaque and tartar build up on your pet's teeth. Plaque harbors bacteria, which can infect gum tissue and the roots of teeth resulting in disease and tooth loss.
Besides the obvious negative impact on oral health, bacteria can enter the bloodstream through the large blood vessels located near the gums and teeth. The organs with the highest blood flow are most susceptible to infections, including the lungs, heart, kidneys, liver, and brain. Damage to these organs caused by infection can shorten the lives of our pets.
What's the procedure like?
Qualified Pet Dental technicians are highly qualified to perform a thorough dental exam on your pet without the use of anesthesia.
Each dental treatment starts with a full physical exam. The doctor will assess your dog’s overall health and temperament and chart any concerns regarding your dog's oral health.
The next step is fully cleaning the teeth above and below the gum line, providing truly preventive dog dental care. They finish up with a polish of the teeth using a fluoride-based pumice.
When the treatment is complete, the doctor will return your pet and explain anything out of the ordinary that was identified during the exam.
What if my dog is nervous?
Pet comfort is a requirement of effective treatment. Like many humans, dogs can get a little anxious when the dental equipment comes out!
During their training, Qualified Pet Dental hygienists learn and perfect animal calming techniques. This grants them the ability to put a nervous dog at ease within minutes and to keep it that way throughout the treatment.
They also practice specially-developed holding techniques that secure the animal without pain, allowing safe access to the teeth and gums.
Does my dog have to attend daycare on the day of?
We strongly recommend your dog attends daycare the day of the dog dental care procedure. Your dog will get to have some fun beforehand and will be more relaxed. However, it is only required that your dog is present at the time of your appointment. If your dog is boarding, no problem! The procedure can still be done.
