Group Dog Obedience Training

Wags & Wiggles group obedience classes are held in a state-of-the-art indoor training facility designed to give owners and their dogs the best chance to succeed. Small class size with individual fenced spaces to allow for freedom to move and learn. Exercises are broken down into easy-to-follow handouts, and the instructors are there to help every step of the way.

Below you will find descriptions of all 4 levels of our Group Dog Obedience Program.  Our Group Class Schedule lists all the class days and times.

Class Structure

  • The entire family is welcome to attend, including Children over the age of 6.
  • Instructor/student ratio is 1:6
  • Homework is given for every class

  • No Choke Chains or Electronic Collars allowed on site

Obedience Level 1: Fundamentals
5 week class | $329

This is a great place to begin learning the basics of positive reinforcement and clicker training! You will be introduced to basic management skills and tools to help stop unwanted behaviors and set your dog up for success, as well as the three main ways to train a new behavior: capturing, shaping and luring.

Once a new behavior is learned, we will show you how to effectively add a cue. The basic behaviors/cues we work on include: name game, touch/recalls, sit to greet, leave it, down, go to the mat, heel/side, and the beginning steps towards loose leash walking.

On your first day you will be sent home with a new treat pouch, clicker, and martingale collar.  Handouts will be sent via email.   Your dog will also benefit from learning how to focus and work around other dogs and people!

Obedience Level 1 group class also includes 60 days access to the online classroom for hybrid learning.

Obedience Level 2: High School
5 week class | $249

Once your dog graduates from Level 1, it's now time to find out if they truly have their new behaviors on cue. You will also learn how to steadily progress the difficulty of these behaviors so they become more reliable, and learn about stimulus control.

We progress with loose leash walking, as well as show you how to add in some self control at home (such as sit and stay for their food bowl).

For a fun change of pace, we also get you started on how to teach your little ones some tricks!

Obedience Level 3: College Prep Training
5 week class | $249

Now that your dog has all of their behaviors on cue, it's time to get serious about duration, distance and distractions!

Learn how to increase your dogs ability to follow cues with various levels of distractions, as well as how start getting more behavior for less rewards. You will also learn how to teach your dog to listen to cues from a distance rather than just right in front of you.

We introduce hand signals and some new cues for known behaviors, such as teaching them that the doorbell means to go to their mat! We also throw in some new tricks to show off!

Obedience Level 4: Ph.D. Training - Advanced Loose Leash Walking
5 week class | $249

After progressing with your dog's walking skills through the first 3 levels, we now want to take the final step towards having a dog that walks politely on leash.

We practice with advanced distractions (both for you and the dog) and learn some new skills to help you avoid any issues or obstacles you may face while walking your dog!

Master's Obedience Program

This discounted program gives you access to all 4 levels of obedience, all puppy classes, and Canine Good Citizen for $1299.  You can take up to 2 classes before upgrading to this program.
