 I can't begin to tell you how much I love and trust Wags and Wiggles. I have taken Sherman to other animal daycare centers in the past, and felt so horrible driving away and leaving him there. From our very first visit to Wags and Wiggles, I knew it was going to be something really special. You have created such a clean, friendly, safe, and fun-filled environment for the dogs, (and the people they own!), I don't know why anyone would leave their four legged babies anyplace else! I know Sherman looks forward to his days at Wags and Wiggles, (we call it gettin' his wiggle on at Wags and Wiggles), because those are the mornings he actually waits while I get ready for work, and then runs down stairs with me to jump jump jump up into the car. He pops out of the car at Wags and Wiggles, just like he does when we visit the Dog Park. He has so much fun running around with the big dogs, and I have so much fun watching him do it on the webcam! The staff, the facility and the services you offer are a joy to be a part of, and I thank all of you for taking such good care of my little man!  WHAT'S UNDER FOOT AT WAGS & WIGGLES?
As a daycare consultant for new and existing daycares nationwide, the question of play surface is so important. Wags & Wiggles offers 3/4" rubber matting for cushioned safe & sanitary play. This product is endorsed by the American Kennel Club and has been used at their agility nationals for the last two years. Our indoor mats have been professional sealed and our outdoor mats are hosed down and disinfected every single day. When we first started we had concrete floors. We quickly realized that this just wasn't safe with dogs sliding into each other and the urine permeating the porous floor. Other rubber products were inferior in providing the cushioning and support that the 3/4" matting provides. We installed rubber matting several years ago and the difference was amazing. The dogs were more willing to actually run and play. They felt more secure in their footing. There was significant less risk to knee and hip injuries. ANTI-FATIGUE qualities from the mats reduce the amount of stress on the dog's joints, back and muscles as well as those of their human caretakers. A safe play surface is very important to young puppies with growing joints. Not to mention breeds that are susceptible to hip displasia (Labs, Danes, Goldens) or luxating patellas (pugs, papillons, bichons). A Year ago, we used this same flooring for our training center where hundreds of dogs have come come to train. Not a day goes by without a client commenting on how they love the floor and the traction it provides. The facility is also able to remain sanitary at all times since the mats don't absorb liquid. Even after years of wear, liquid still pools on the mats and there has been no leakage. The only downside is some dogs may get some minor black marks. However, with our FREE Fluff N Fresh service, this is no longer an issue. So the next time you drop off, check out the mats on the webcam and now you know why the dogs feel so safe to really let loose and play. |
